Mark Davis grew up in Mooresville, North Carolina. After graduating from Mooresville Senior High School, Mr. Davis went to the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina, where he obtained a B.A. in History in 2002. After working as a paralegal at a large plaintiff’s personal injury firm, he attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, obtaining his Juris Doctor degree in 2006. Mr. Davis is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Alabama. In addition, Mr. Davis is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, and the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama.
After graduation from law school, Mr. Davis was based in Birmingham, Alabama, practicing in the state and federal courts of Alabama. During that time, his practice consisted primarily of defending businesses and individuals in varied types of civil litigation. Prior to opening Davis Law PLLC, Mr. Davis worked as an attorney for various law firms in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. In that capacity, he regularly worked on complex matters involving the banking, technology, and medical fields. Mr. Davis founded Davis Law PLLC with the vision of providing superior legal services to the Lake Norman area.
Mr. Davis serves on the Iredell County Planning Board, and is a member of the Iredell County Indigent Defense Committee. In addition, he attends St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Mooresville. Mr. Davis is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the District 22A Bar, the Iredell County Bar Association, and the Alabama State Bar. Mr. Davis lives in Mooresville, and is a passionate admirer of Lake Norman. He can be regularly found during his spare time either out on the Lake, or sitting beside it, with friends and family.
